‘Wishing I Didn’t Miss You’ Singer goes away at 63

We have some sad news to report from the music world:

Angie Stone – a member of the iconic musical trio sequence – is dead. She was just 63 years old.

News of Stone’s passing off with the permission of her representative Deborah R. Champagne, who also revealed the tragic circumstances under which the singer died.

Angie Stone’s cause of death revealed

According to Stone’s representative, the music legend was killed in a car accident after performing in Montgomery, Alabama on Friday night.

Champagne says she was talking to Stone a few hours before she died.

TMZ has reached the Montgomery authorities seeking details of the crash, but so far the outlets have not received an answer.

During his career, Angie saw great success as both a solo artist and as a member of the sequence.

The groundbreaking group released three successful albums between 1979 and 1985. Their collapse was only the beginning of Stone’s career success when she released her most popular singles on her own.

Angie’s debut album Black diamond Went gold in the US two years later, she released her greatest song, “Wishing I didn’t miss you.”

More than 20 years after the release, the song remains popular with more almost 40 million views on YouTube.

According to Spin During Angie’s career, she collaborated with such luminaires as Prince, Macy Gray, Lenny Kravitz, Josh Groban, Ray Charles, Kool & The Gang, Guru and Dionne Warwick.

News about Stone’s passing made her an immediate trend topic on social media.

On X (formerly Twitter), users pointed out that she performed the theme of the popular sitcom Girlfriendsand her song “No More Rain” was prominently shown in a classic episode of The cord.

Angie released ten albums during her career. Her latest, Love languagecame out in 2023.

Stone also worked as an actress, racked more than a dozen TV and movie credits and draws Rave reviews for his work as Big Mama Morton in a stage production of Chicago.

Angie is survived by his son Michael, daughter Diamond and two grandchildren.
