“With every new season comes a new beginning, and I have some news to share,” Thornton shared with fans in a April 21 Instagram post, added:

“My family and I have made the decision to move to Atlanta, and with that I will not return to Real Housewives of Potomac next season.

The 40-year-old has been an important part of this reality show from seasons six to nine.

“The last four seasons have been an unforgettable journey a full of growth, lessons and so many incredible memories,” she continued.

“I want to thank really original, Bravo, Nbcuniversal and Andy Cohen for believing me and given me room to share my story. To my caste buddies: Thanks for laughter, lessons and the unforgettable moments.

“And for the amazing fans your love and support has meant everything to me. I will always carry it with me.”

As for what’s next?

Thornton did Teasing new projects on the horizon after moving home.

“This next chapter is already full of exciting opportunities, and I can’t wait to take you all the time on the trip,” she concluded.

“Big things come … ‘I don’t just get headlines – I come with history. Atlanta, stiff yourself. The empire is expanded. #Legacyinthemaking.”

Unlike a few other Bravo personalities that have a problem these days with the network and/or Andy Cohen, the producer made it clear last night that there is no bad blood around the departure.

“Bravo to you,” he commented on Mia’s post.

As fans probably remember, Thornton left Season 9-Genforening in the middle of Taping after her colleagues put her on the spot to discuss her divorce from the alienated husband Gordon Thornton.

On the camera in front of their young children Jeremiah, 10, and Juliana, 8, no less.

It is also worth noting that Karen Huger is also likely to miss Season 10 after she reported in prison in February to put off her one-year sentence after being found guilty of driving under influence after a car accident in March 2024 and DUI arrest.

While producers have not yet officially announced the program’s upcoming role crew, Gizelle Bryant, Ashley Darby, Wendy Osefo, Stacey Rusch and Keiarna Stewart are expected to return in at least a certain capacity.
