Well over a decade, meanwhile, the artist almost lost his dignity in the eyes of a previously adopted public.
In a new interview with Flow Space, rimes dive deeply into her affair with now-man Eddie Cibrian, an illegal endeavor that landed her in the cross hair of many critics back in 2009.
The singer and actor met on the set of Lifetime Movie Northern Heights, at which time Cibrian was married to Brandi Glanville and Rimes married Dean Sheremet.
They started sleeping with each other despite these conditions … Finally, their spouses separated in 2010 and got married the next year.
“I realized very quickly that there are many women who have been injured,” Rimes told the aforementioned marketing market.
“As if I’ve been on both sides of that coin – I’ve also been cheated on, so I know that feeling. But so many women don’t know what to do with that anger … I was a goal that was just easily projected on. And when I first realized things were getting much easier.”
Rimes said that most of those who judged her were women.

The 42-year-old said that after a while she decided she cannot take contempt her and Eddie’s romance was taken “in person.”
However, this was a major challenge at first.
“I know what I’m responsible for in the situation and change it,” the singer said. “But you know the pain of the world is not mine to carry, and I think it was really thrown at me for a long time.”
In 2010, Rimes confessed to the People magazine that she considered her affair with Cibrian “one of the most selfish things that I could possibly do by hurt another.”
She said at the time:
“I take responsibility for everything I have done. I hate that people were injured, but I do not regret the result.”
