Earlier this week, we confirmed that Jaime King had lost primary custody of his children to ex-husband Kyle Newman.
Now new information relating to this unfortunate situation has emerged.
In a legal statement lodged by Newman far back in May 2020 as part of the ex-couple’s divorce case, he said his then wife was a “chronic drug addict and alcoholic who refuses to acknowledge that she has a problem, so much less to seek meaningful treatment of such a problem.”
Based on documents obtained by In Touch Weekly, Newman even said King had been drinking and taking drugs while he was pregnant.

Newman’s five -year -old filing read as follows:
“Jaime has spent the last decade high. Jaime abused opiates before the children were born, continued to abuse drugs and alcohol throughout her pregnancies … driving under the influence of them in the car and getting so drunk in front of them that they thought their mother died and abandon them in days at some point to be drinking and high instead of nourishing them.”
This story has gone especially viral, we should notice because Taylor Swift is the godmother of one of King’s Sons.
Newman also accused King of “Infidelity”, which he accused of drug use and added in this filing:
“I’ve done everything I can think of to try to get her well so she can be the mother of our children, who I know she can be, including interventions, work with her doctors to wean her from opiates and try to convince her to enter rehabilitation many, many times”

There is also more that just discovered and revealed by the aforementioned tabloid.
“I have spent years worrying that Jaime killed himself by overdosing, drinking himself to death, starving himself, going out drunk or loud somewhere and being injured, raping or murdering or killing himself or others with his erratic and drunk driving,” Newman wrote.
“Since the birth of our children, I have been struggling more and more to try to balance to help Jaime and protect the children.”
Newman claims that he and the actress had many conversations about her opiat abuse, but that she was constantly lied to him and continued to take these pills even when 20-plus weeks pregnant with their second child.
“As a result, he claims, the baby was born with a” congenital heart failure [that] would need surgery to survive as soon as he was born. “

After giving birth to this child, Newman wrote that his former spouse would not “remember conversations” and that her mental state continued to deteriorate.
He continued with these lines and said about Newmanl
“She had stopped eating and had lost a daunting amount of weight. Jaime would go out to ‘business dinners’ at 8pm and not come home until after 1 p.m.
“She would be confrontational with me and often become physical.”

Due to the latest decision, King is entitled to three monitored visits with his children a week for now. Nothing more.
She has been ordered to implement AA-Sex Months’ Narcotics/Alcohol Program with Weekly Testing along with a 26-week parenting program and advice before this can be changed.
Previously, her lawyer responded to many of Newman’s claims by telling in touch:
“The allegations against Jaime are completely false and aim to cause her injury and damage harm with media trial.
“It is unfortunate that Mr. Newman continues to use the court in an attempt to continue … The filing of unfounded malicious allegations and to use the children as weapons and peasants without regard to their privacy.
“Jaime is intent and focuses solely on a peaceful and harmonious coparing process, and her greatest priority is their children’s happiness, health and well-being.”
