Apple has released iOS 18.4.1 and iPados 18.4.1, which does not offer new features but solves two critical vulnerabilities. For both corrections, Apple says on its security update page that it is “aware of a report that this issue may have been exploited in an extremely sophisticated attack on specific targeted individuals on iOS.”
The release notes are small for this one. Outside of the security fixes, this release claims to correct only an error with wireless carplay.
This update provides important bug fixes, security updates and addresses a rare problem that prevents wireless carplay connection in certain vehicles.
