We have tragic news from Hollywood today, as the beloved actor Nicky Katt has gone unexpectedly.
During his long career, Katt worked with some of the industry’s most recognized directors, including Richard Linklater, Steven Soderbergh, Christopher Nolan, Robert Rodriguez and David Gordon Green.
He is perhaps best known for the role of Clint Bruno, the violent party pumping Adam Goldberg’s character in Cult Classic 1993 Mix and confused.

A brilliant career short
Born in South Dakota in 1970, Katte’s way to Hollywood went at a very young age.
After starting his career as a child star with roles on TV shows like Fantasy Island and ChipsKatt transitioned to more mature projects.
His impressive list of credits includes well received films such as Boiler room, Sin CityAt A time to killAt The way to the gun, suburb, insomniaand School of Rock.
IN MixKatt starred with a veritable who is who of young talents would continue to achieve great things.


Katt was on put together with such future luminaires as Matthew McConaughey, Cole Hauser, Ben Affleck, Milla Jovovich and Parker Posey.
He later returned to TV where he starred in the first three seasons of the beloved FOX drama Boston Public.
Nicky Kat’s cause of death
Currently, details of Kat’s passing away are hard to come up with.
After noting that it may be difficult to confirm such tragic news over a weekend, the deadline reported that Katt seems to be dead, but the reason for his death is currently unclear.
Kate’s talent as a character actor is clear in the loving tribute that began to appear on social media shortly after the news of his passing became public.


“Holy sh-t. I just talked to friends a few weeks ago how much I loved Nicky Katt. Rip to a real,” a fan twitly twited.
“Nicky Katt should have/could have been 2010’s Walton Goggins. Phenomenal in everything from Boston Public to Planet Terror. RIP, ”added movie critic Barry Hertz.
“RIP NICKY KATT. Even with limited screen time this is the most realistic bad child/bullying performance I’ve seen in a movie,” wrote a third user along with a photo of cat in Mix and confused.
