Diddy appeared in court today for a hearing prior to his trial on May 5th.
And according to several courtroom reporters, the quarreled hip -hop -mogul looked significantly worse out of wear.
As you probably know, Diddy has been locked in Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center since September last year.
And it seems that all these months behind pillars have taken a toll on the rapper.
Diddy does not plead guilty to several charges
During today’s hearing, Diddy did not plead guilty to charges of sex trade, racketing conspiracy and transport to participate in prostitution fees.
That part was expected. However, what caught many legal journalists was Diddy’s appearance.
New York Post Reporter Kyle Schnitzer noted that the rapper “looked bloated and old.”
CBS New York Reporter Alice Gainer Tweeted, “Combs went into the courtroom with sports gray hair and a gray beard.”
Law & Crime Reporter Elizabeth Millner also said Diddy looked like “Santa Claus.” She also noted that many of the journalists in the courtroom today were “caught by the guard” by the change in his appearance.
Cameras were not allowed in the courtroom, but several journalists noticed Diddy’s undeveloped look.
And that’s not the only reason why Mr. Sean Combs probably feels a little down today. It was in every respect a tough day in court for the previously beloved hip -hop icon.
Diddy’s lawyers sparre with prosecutors over Cassie who beats video
Prior to his arrest last summer, video of Diddy Savagely Attacking then girlfriend Cassie was obtained by CNN.
In court today, Diddy’s attorneys claimed that the cable news network had changed the footage and destroyed the original copy.
The pus was shot down when prosecutors revealed that they are currently in possession of the original recordings.
Diddy is not prosecuted for the assault on Cassie as it is a state case and the limitation of limitation has expired. But prosecutors plan to use the footage as evidence of Combs’ violent nature.
Diddy has repeatedly been denied bail and remains in prison until the end of his trial, at which time he will either be released or moved to a more permanent facility.
He faces life in prison if he is sentenced to all charges.
A source close to Diddy tells Post That the rapper is “fit, healthy and fully focused on his defense.”
The insider added that “he has been very active, remains in a good mood, and as always he was happy to see his children,” four of whom were in the courtroom today.
Chambers allegedly blew kisses to his children and his mother, who were also available.
