Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin almost parted over her Bravolebrity status.
It’s been a hot minute since Rinna was part of the role crew of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Regardless of the circumstances of her Rhobh Exit, she was a key component of some of the series’ most memorable moments.
It hardly happened at all. She was hardly a housewife. Or alternatively she was hardly a wife.
During a recent performance on The thin confidential him and her podcastLisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin talked about her previous career at The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
It turns out that Hamlin did not think much about the new Bravo franchise early on. He actually threatened to divorce Rinna if she made a performance.
Rinna, however, detailed how she saw the potential of reality -TV.
Even when she signed up, reality stars were able to make money from their fame by promoting their business and careers. She would do the same.
“I knew reality was really the place that started to happen,” Lisa Rinna remembered. “I was like, hmm, this is interesting.”
She continued: “And then I started to see what the girls were doing on housewives and how they benefit from it with their brands. And I thought, oh maybe this is a good idea.”
Instead of bringing it directly up, Rinna producers let her come. “So I floated the kind of idea. They picked it up. They came to me and said,” Will you do the show? ”” ”
Harry Hamlin threatened to divorce Lisa Rinna if she joined ‘Rhobh’
“I went to Harry and said,” I think it might be a good idea. What do you think? “” Lisa Rinna told “he goes,” definitely not. I will separate you if you do that show. ”” ”
Harry Hamlin did not deny it.
“I said that. I said I have my divorce lawyer on Speed Dial, as I do.” However, he soon changed the tune.
When Lisa Rinna brought Bethenny Frankel’s brand -success at the time, he began to warm up to the idea.
“All I said was, ‘okay all i want you to do is just check this person [Bethenny] And see how her business is … [Harry and I] Had a QVC business at the time, ”Rinna clarified.
“Three days later he comes back into space and says,” Well, I’ve been thinking … “” she described triumphantly.
Hamlin then chimled in, “I said, ‘If Bethenny Frankel can build such a business, we can too. Maybe it’s like to do so.'”
However, ‘Rhobh’ did not end up testing their marriage
Talking to Daily MailHarry Hamlin talked more about his relationship with Lisa Rinna.
“We’ve always had a good relationship it wasn’t even tested under Housewives Things, ”he confirmed.

According to Harry Hamlin, Kyle had to think about it before he realized that very few of the current role crews are traditional housewives.
