Yvette Nicole Brown takes Khloe Kardashian to task.
While Kim Kardashian’s tone-deaf response to the Los Angeles wildfires isn’t going well, she’s not the only member of the family in hot water — so to speak.
See, Khloe decided now was the time to take aim at LA’s mayor. A strange time for that, especially from a member of a family who actually endorsed Rick Caruso.
Yvette points out that Khloe might be the last person to talk about this specific topic. It’s not even about politics.

How Khloe Kardashian drew Yvette Nicole Brown’s wrath?
On Friday, January 10, Khloe Kardashian slammed Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass on Instagram, calling her “a joke.”
To Khloe’s credit, she praised Los Angeles Fire Chief Kristin Crowley.
Previously, Crowley had alleged that Bass had sought budget cuts to the LAFD prior to the fires.

It is entirely possible (even probable) that several political and municipal safeguards failed.
Although these devastating wildfires are the direct consequence of years of unchecked climate change, there are ways to mitigate some fire risks.
We are sure there will be clues in the coming years. It seems unlikely that much of it will be productive, but some of it might.

Here’s what Yvette Nicole Brown had to say to Khloe Kardashian
Yvette’s Instagram post shared a screenshot of a headline calling the Kardashians among the “worst water wasters” and included a caption in her own words.
“This is from 2022 when Los Angeles was in the middle of a drought,” her caption reads.
“Every citizen was asked to save for the benefit of everyone else. You know because of fires?” Yvette continued. “This is how some citizens responded to the question.”

“Is THIS a joke @khloekardashian?” Yvette Nicole Brown then asked.
The article itself claimed that the Kardashians used 330,000 gallons over the county border (rather than just in total) during the month of June.
For reference, your average 20-minute shower probably uses about 50 liters of water. This means that the Kardashian family ignores the water below the border allegedly used around 6,600 showers worth of water alone during the month of June 2022.
Is there more to this story?
It is worth noting that the original LA Times report (remember when that paper was good?) wasn’t actually named Khloe. The article pointed to Kim and Kourtney for allegedly using unimaginable amounts of water.
Additionally, even the rampant waste of water in this report could not cause wildfires or deprive the City and County of Los Angeles of their ability to fight them. Apart from the Resnick family, it is probably a mistake to point the finger at individuals or families.
This is a massive systemic problem that extends far beyond Los Angeles. Our hearts go out to the millions of people directly and indirectly affected by these wildfires.
