Until now, the most USB-C ports we’ve seen on a charger, six, thanks to the Satechi 200W 6-port charging station. Six charging gates should be enough for most people, we thought, but on a busy width of desks or at home in a device that came with, the charging gates can be filled very quickly.
A further complication is that most multi-port chargers reserve specific maximum power for each port, known as rules-based charging — then when using all its gate Satechi charging station forces of 65W on the upper port, 45W on the other and and then 20W each on the next four. If you are the last to use a port, you may be stuck with only 20W to play with, even when the other connected devices higher up are fully charged.
If you want to charge your laptop at the fastest possible speed, you need to pack the top port before anyone else uses it to charge their airpods and get bad over the sharing.

Plugbar PS-10cc: Priority Charging
10-port-yes, 10-plugable PS-10CC is the first USB-C charging station to use intelligent software-based priority charging that distributes power across all connected devices prioritized in the order you choose from left to right. When devices reach full charge, the now greater available power is redistributed down the line. Plugbar calls its smart Power-allocation technology priority shark.
A maximum of 100W power is available across the 10 charging ports.
The charger uses real -time current sensing technology to prioritize the devices connected to the left gates. Put the device you most desired charged to full – probably your laptop or smartphone – in the first port to the left and it will receive the power it needs before smaller devices down the line.
When the first devices achieve full battery status, the PS-10CC automatically switches excess power to the next set connected devices, which must ensure that everyone receives the required power in the shortest possible time.
It works by feeling both how much power is requested from connected devices and what is available from the attached charger and assigns power based on the priority order in which the devices are connected.

If you need to charge multiple laptops, the PS-10cc will give the maximum requested power to the laptop associated with the highest priority-the highest priority is the left port, then the port to the right of it, and then Furthermore-so-cascading the remaining available power to the next device in line. Depending on factors such as the device model and the battery tax level at the time of connection, the first laptop may request 100W, but often it will be far smaller, often from 30-65W and more laptops will typically charge at the same time in this scenario.
Most laptops, phones and tablets are designed to charge at their maximum speed between 0-50% battery level and at a lower speed then for optimal prolonged battery health. So the PS-10CC listens to what the device is requesting and adjusted throughout the charging process to ensure that the highest priority units are charged as quickly as they are capable of, while effectively cascading the remaining available power and ultimately ensuring that everything ends up charged.
This should also mean more efficient energy consumption and prevent potential overheating.

Note that the PS-10CC is a full USB-C charger without any older USB-A ports for older cables. See somewhere else if you are still pouring with pre-C devices. USB-C ports work smoothly with Thunderbolt 3, 4 and 5 devices as well.
Each port has its own status -joint: Solid blue means that the unit of this gate is fully charged, flashing blue means it is currently charging and purple indicates that the gate is available.
The maximum possible output from each port is 100W, but it is also the total possible effect on the PS-10cc at once.
If you need a higher total output-for example to charge two or three laptops on the same time view after a multi-port charger with a higher maximum.
The Satchi 6-Port charging station of $ 149 can be broadcast in 200W over multiple USB-C ports, though not as intelligently as the pluggable charger. It and other high-output chargers distribute power differently depending on how many gates are in use, but in a more limited way, as described earlier.
Anker Prime Charger (200W, 6 Ports) $ 69 can push 200W in addition to its four USB-C and two USB-A ports and uses its AI power mode to detect high/medium/low requirements for connected devices and adjust the power distribution in all.
UGREEN’S $ 169 NEXODE 300W GAN WALL USB-C charger has five port-Inclusive one USB-A-and maximum 300W output. This can charge three laptops at 140/100/60W or two at 140/100W. Using all five gates means that the power is distributed in a 140/65/45/22/22.5w configuration.
Although not as smart as PS-10cc, these alternatives offer a higher maximum output, and at least one port that supports 140W PD 3.1 is required for quick charging Apple’s top-end 16-inch MacBook Pro.
The PS-10CC can still charge this MacBook model, just not with its maximum charging speed. However, if you charge multiple devices at the same time, the power distribution will be smarter for all connected devices.
While the other chargers work within a fixed set of predetermined power budget rules for different types of device across their gates, the pluggable design explicitly aims to avoid the fall grains in rules -based charge with a simple priority system that first charge your most important devices while ensuring Each connected device is effectively charged over time.
MacBooks are better at charging at lower wattage than many Windows -laptop computers. So even a 20W output can get power for a MacBook, while Windows -Arable computers require 45W just to bother to start charging.

Plugbar PS-10cc: Price
Ten Intelligent 100W charging ports for $ 99.99 are a great value to us – if you need so many gates at once. If you only need one or two, we suggest you look at our other favorite USB-C chargers.
You need to add your own wall charger and charge cable to get power to PS-10cc. Check the link above to find the best if you don’t already have a reserve. If you want to use the 10 portable charger to its maximum, you need a charger that can be sent out at least 100W.
Also, remember that a charger is cheaper than the two or three you need to compete with this single, and it is therefore also more environmentally friendly. The charger is made of 50% post-consumer recycled (PCR) aluminum and 75% PCR PC+ABS.

Should you buy the pluggable 10-port PS-10CC USB-C charger?
The pluggable PS-10CC can nicely and effectively charge up to 10 hungry devices at the same time and at an optimal power distribution without having to resort to more chargers and a desk full of non-bound talking cables that would scare Indiana Jones.
It may not offer the highest total charging, but it delivers its 100W Total in the smartest, most effective way.
